Currents from Cuba will be edited into two versions: a 37-minute version designed for public school audiences in South Florida, and a 57-minute version designed for public television. During the fall and winter of the 2017-18 school year, approximately 40,000 school students will see an auditorium presentation of the 37 minute film with live narration delivered from memory by me (Richard S. Kern). Kickstarter backers will receive a digital download of the full-length 57-minute version of the film.
